“Let’s buy a farm” he said.

“Can we raise Babydoll sheep?” was her response.

Located in Harford County, Maryland, Sunny Dreams Farm, began with Babydoll Southdown Sheep and Miniature Nigerian Dwarf Goats.  We loved it so much that we soon expanded to Miniature Potbellied Bigs and Harlequin Sheep, as well as some non-miniature breeds.

Sunny Dreams Farm began in 2022 with a dream for a new kind of living.  We researched, made contacts with well-established breeders and traveled cross country to purchase our flocks.  Our new life began, a life full of animals. Lots of them.

It has now turned into a full farm with a growing produce stand, fresh eggs, registered animals and more!

Meet the Nigerian Miniature Dwarf Goat

The Nigerian dwarf goat is a miniature dairy breed from South Africa.  They are raised as pets and for milk, which is sweet and high in butterfat.

They will mow your grass, trim bushes and eat your poison ivy.  These dwarf goats are curious, happy and very friendly

Southdown Babydoll Sheep

These Babydolls only grow to about 18 to 24 inches tall when they're fully grown. They can weigh between 60 and 125 pounds.

Because of their small size, they're easy to handle and popular as pets for children and for 4-H projects.
